In the 1950s and 1950s I was a member of a model train club in Los Angeles we had a nice layout where model rail roaders without a layout could bring there models and run them on our layout.Work interfered with my hobby but I kept up with it through friends, magazines and books, now that I am no logger working I thougt about getting invold again. another one of my hobbies was collecting staps, I was a volunteer at the Western Philatelic Libary for many. years.I understood that you have a library, I would like to help in acquiring material for your liibrary.

I'm a relatively new member of the WBMRA so I'm not sure if you are familiar with our club, have visited in the past, or know any of the current members but please feel free to visit when you have time -- the fourth Wednesday of each month is our open house and is a great time to stop by, look at the layout, and meet some of the members.
