West Bay Model Railroad Association Network

Sharing the joys of model railroading on the San Francisco peninsula

As a new member there is a lot I need to learn. I am not very mobile so I will have to do most of my
communicating through EmIl. Is there a central Email address or does each member have there own.
I recieved an Email from Mark Drury, I had written a note when I joined about my background but was not sure that it was sent so I assumed that Mark Drury was responding to that note.
I understand that you a small library, I am interested in helping in that area, looking for mew material to add to the library and helping keep record of what is available to the members.I have plenty of and enjoy searching the Internet. If a number is looking for information but does not have necessary time I can help out.
For many years I was a volunteer for a small library (Volunteers of the Western Philatelic Library) and I feel that my back ground can be an asset to your library.
I am including a copy Of my first E mail because I am not sure it was sent.

Hello again, Alan,

Yes, I was responding to the information you added to your profile (about being a member of a Los Angeles-area club in the '50s and '60s) -- I enjoyed reading it and, again, welcome to our club network and website!  The WBMRA does have a small library, perhaps 200 or more books kept at the club, and you are more than welcome to visit the club and see what we have, perhaps consider joining the club and helping to inventory our small collection, help add to it, etc.  June 22, 7pm, is our next open house and I should be there helping to run the HO equipment -- hope to see you then if you are able to make it!  Regards,
